Nannie'S Cream Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. flour (plain)
4 eggs
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
In medium saucepan, heat water and butter to a rolling boil.
Over low heat stir in flour vigorously until mixture forms a ball (about 1 minute).
Remove from burner.
Beat eggs in, one at a time, until smooth.
Drop onto ungreased baking sheet, forming at least 8 mounds.
Bake 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and continue baking for 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slowly, away from drafts.
Remove soft dough from center and fill with fresh fruit and whipped cream, or with custard and topped with chocolate icing.
Serves 8.
