Peppermint Patties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter, softened
1 1/2 boxes confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. peppermint flavoring
4 oz. baking chocolate
1/3 bar paraffin
walnut halves
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar, adding flavoring.
Cream thoroughly until a firm ball forms.
Shape into balls.
Flatten to form patties.
Melt chocolate and paraffin; dip each patty into mixture.
Lay patties on waxed paper.
Add a walnut half to each piece.
Store in refrigerator.
Yields 25 to 30 pieces.
