My Mom'S Broccoli Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 1/2 c. water (cooks rice)
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    3/4 stick margarine or butter
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 soup can milk
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook and drain broccoli.
    Add to cooked rice.
    Saute onion in butter (or margarine).
    Mix onions, balance of butter from saute and cheese (3/4 cup) to broccoli rice mixture.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for abut 20 minutes.
    If prepared the day before, bake 45 minutes to 1 hour.
