Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. butter
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to directions.
    Pour 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Melt caramels in butter and milk over low heat, stirring constantly. On cake that has baked 15 minutes sprinkle 1 cup nuts, chocolate chips and pour caramel mix over this.
    Pour remaining batter and sprinkle with last cup of nuts.
    Bake 20 minutes more.
