Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cook the first 3 ingredients for 8 minutes in uncovered bowl in microwave oven.
    Add margarine and vanilla.
    Cook 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and add baking soda and spread on greased cookie sheet.
    Cool and break apart.
