Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak
1/4 c. salad oil
1 clove garlic
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. bite size pieces green pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. stock or bouillon
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
hot cooked rice
Preparation

Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
Cut into strips about two inches long.
Heat salad oil in skillet over medium heat.
Place garlic clove and meat into oil and cook over medium heat until browned.
Remove garlic and discard.
Add onion, green pepper, salt, pepper and ginger.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until tender.
Combine cornstarch, bouillon and soy sauce.
Stir into mixture in skillet.
Bring to boil; cook, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and clear. Serve over hot cooked rice.
