Mock Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. rhubarb
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
pinch of salt
1/2 c. nuts
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook rhubarb, sugar and water until rhubarb is tender and water dissolved.
Mix well in saucepan the sugar, salt and flour. Then add and mix well the 1/2 cup milk, 2 egg yolks and when batter is smooth, add 1 1/2 cups of milk.
Cook over medium heat, about 8 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick.
Remove from heat and add margarine, vanilla and rhubarb.
Stir well. Place in baked pie shell. Cover with meringue.
Brown in oven.
