Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; set aside.
    Combine butter, sugar and eggs.
    Beat until light and creamy.
    Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Chill 1 to 2 hours.
    Roll teaspoonful of dough into balls, roll balls in sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, until light brown, but still soft.
    They puff up, but flatten out with cracked tops. Cool on wire rack.
