Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 gal. sliced cucumbers
2 large onions, sliced
1 handful salt
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. ground mustard
3 c. sugar

Preparation

Cover with
vinegar
and stir, then heat until hot, but not boiling.
Place in jars and seal while hot.
