Almond Roca - cooking recipe
Ingredients

saltine crackers
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Line cookie sheet with foil.
Spread saltine crackers in a single layer in a 12 x 18-inch bar pan.
Set aside.
Melt 1 cup butter and 1 cup sugar in saucepan and boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly to avoid scorching.
Pour mixture over crackers and bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Spread chocolate chips on top of the cracker surface and let melt. Spread out the chocolate over entire surface and then top with nuts.
Refrigerate.
Bread into pieces once candy has hardened.
Store in a covered container.
Candy may be frozen for later use.
