Cracklin' Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 1/3 c. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 c. cracklings, finely chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
Combine with the cornmeal.
Add the milk and egg and mix well.
Add the cracklings and blend thoroughly.
Turn into a greased 9-inch square baking pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
