Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. persimmon pulp
2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix pulp, sugar, eggs and flour with soda, salt and spices. Using mixer, stir in milk and melted butter.
Add vanilla.
Put mixture in greased baking dish.
Suggested temperature is 350\u00b0. We have found 325\u00b0 is more desirable.
Bake 1 hour approximately. Pick persimmons after first frost when they get soft.
Wash and mash to make pulp.
