Sausage Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bulk pork sausage
2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
hot biscuits
Preparation

In large skillet, crumble sausage into small pieces and brown lightly.
Remove sausage and drain off all but 4 tablespoons of the drippings.
To the drippings in the skillet, stir in the flour.
Keep stirring until mixture is smooth and simmers. Continue simmering to brown flour (do not scorch).
Add milk, a little at a time, stirring constantly, until mixture is desired thickness for gravy.
Add sausage.
Split hot biscuits; place on serving plate.
Pour gravy over top.
Makes 4 servings.
