Taffy-Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans crushed pineapple, drain (set juice aside)
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar (add to pineapple juice)
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs, beaten
    16 oz. Cool Whip
    roasted peanuts
    8 large red apples
Preparation
    Cook juice, sugar, flour and egg until thick like applesauce. Cool.
