Barbecued Franks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion
    3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 can tomato soup
    8 hot dogs
Preparation
    Saute the sliced onion in the butter.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Split 8 hot dogs in half lengthwise; add to sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes.
    Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
