King'S Arms Tavern Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. sweet potatoes
    3/4 c. light brown sugar, divided
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. light cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cook potatoes in boiling, salted water until done.
    Peel and mash. Stir in all remaining ingredients except 2 tablespoons sugar. Turn into casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
