Broccoli-Cheddar Egg Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli florets or chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
    1 (8 oz.) loaf Italian bread, cut into 1-inch chunks (about 4 cups)
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos, drained and cut into 1-inch pieces (optional)
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole, beat eggs until mixed.
    In a 2-quart glass measure, heat milk on High 1 1/2 to 4 minutes, until steaming.
    Gradually beat into eggs.
    Stir in bread and remaining ingredients, reserving 2 tablespoons cheese.
    With spatula, lightly press bread mixture into egg mixture.
    Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
