Churchman Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
3 Tbsp. sour cream
1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 can Campbell's beef bouillon
2 Tbsp. butter
approximately 3 Tbsp. flour
water (if needed)
Preparation

Saute onion in butter.
Cut steak across grain into strips and add to onion.
Cook over low heat until beef is brown.
Pour in bouillon and cover with lid.
Let simmer for about 1 hour or until tender.
Make sure liquid does not boil out.
Stir in mushrooms and let cook for about 5 minutes.
Add flour to the beef mixture to thicken the sauce for gravy, using water if more gravy is needed.
Add sour cream; stir.
Serve over hot, cooked noodles or rice.
