Light And Tender Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/3 c. very warm water (105~ to 115~)
    1 egg, well beaten
    4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
    melted margarine
Preparation
    Combine milk, sugar, salt and shortening.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in very warm water.
    Add to milk mixture.
    Stir in egg.
    Gradually add enough flour to make soft dough.
    Cover with a towel; let rise until doubled in bulk.
    Punch dough down.
    Turn out and knead lightly.
    Shape into rolls.
    Brush with melted butter.
    Let rise until doubled.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
