Grandpa'S Best Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    4 to 5 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening (if using butter or margarine, should be chilled, not room temperature). Stir in cold milk.
    The dough can have a few lumps; this is what gives the biscuits a flaky texture.
    Roll out on a floured board to about 1/2-inch thickness.
    Flour the biscuit cutter before cutting each biscuit.
    Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and place in a preheated oven.
    Bake for approximately 20 minutes (or until brown) at 425\u00b0.
