Hungarian Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 medium onions, diced
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 c. diced turnips
    1 c. diced carrots
    1 c. diced celery
    1 1/2 c. diced potatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions in vegetable oil.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
