Mexican Tamale Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. oil
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. biscuit mix
    1 tsp. each ground cumin and salt
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn, well drained
    1 small can chopped ripe olives, well drained
Preparation
    Condiments:
    1 to 1 1/2 cups each shredded Cheddar, chopped green onions including tops, chopped tomatoes, sour cream and prepared taco sauce or salsa.
