Red Cinnamon Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 very large cucumbers, peeled, cored and speared
2 gal. or 8 qt. water
2 c. lime
1 c. vinegar
1 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. alum
2 c. vinegar
6 c. sugar
1 (7 to 9 oz.) red hots
2 c. hot water
5 sticks cinnamon
Preparation

Peel, core and spear cucumbers.
Soak in water and lime for 24 hours.
