Brown Sugar Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    2 c. light brown sugar (packed)
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat.
    Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar.
    Stir until blended.
    Cool.
    Add eggs stirring until blended.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and stir into mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts stirring until blended. Spread in well greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until slight imprint remains when touched with finger. Don't overbake.
    Cut into bars or squares while still warm.
