Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. strawberries
    1 box Sure-Jell
    7 c. sugar
Preparation
    Clean berries.
    Crush so that all are reduced to a pulp. Measure 4 1/2 cups.
    Add water if necessary.
    Mix Sure-Jell with berries into large saucepan.
    Place over high heat.
    Stir until comes to a hard boil.
    Add sugar at once.
    Bring to a full, rolling boil; boil for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Skim off foam with metal spoon.
    Quickly ladle into clean, hot jars.
    Cover with 1/8 inch of paraffin.
    Cool slowly.
