Green Wonder Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can French green beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can Chinese vegetables, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 (8 oz.) can small peas, drained
    1 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
    2 or 3 medium onions, sliced thin
Preparation
    Heat first 3 items until sugar dissolves.
    Cool.
    Combine all vegetables and pour vinegar mix over them.
    Cover and refrigerate. Good after sets 24 hours and will keep 10 to 14 days.
    Serves 16 (2 quarts).
