Teri'S Caesar Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head romaine lettuce
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    5 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
    1 tsp. Dijon-style mustard
    dash of freshly ground pepper
    3/4 c. seasoned croutons
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    bacon bits (optional)
Preparation
    Wash lettuce and tear into pieces.
    Combine garlic, lemon juice, oil, mustard and pepper; shake well.
    (Chill dressing if desired.)
    Place lettuce in salad bowl and add croutons and cheese.
    Pour dressing over lettuce and toss lightly.
    May sprinkle each serving with additional cheese.
