Crab Au Gratin - A La Betsy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lump white crab meat
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 stick oleo
    1 (13 oz.) carton half and half milk
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Saute celery and onion in oleo.
    Gradually blend in half and half.
    Add well beaten egg yolks, salt, pepper and garlic.
    Cook 5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
    Put crab meat in a large bowl; sprinkle with lemon juice.
    Pour mixture from skillet over crab meat; mix well.
    Pour into a large casserole sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 8.
