Bantam Bambi Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. venison
    1 c. cider
    1 sliced onion
    10 whole cloves
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. red wine
    4 peppercorns
    1/4 c. salad oil
    finely ground nut meats
Preparation
    Combine ingredients except nuts.
    Marinate venison for 2 days in refrigerator, turning frequently.
    Cook as you would lamb. Cover with nuts for last 15 minutes of cooking.
