Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 well beaten eggs
    your favorite seasoning (vanilla or whatever)
Preparation
    Heat to lukewarm in a double boiler the milk and sugar. Slowly add the eggs.
    Cook over low heat and stir constantly until the back of a wooden spoon is coated, about 20 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add your favorite seasoning.
    (If mixture is lumpy, the custard has cooked too rapidly.
    Put into blender and blend until smooth.)
