Princess Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 lb. boneless chicken breast, skinned and cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. rice wine or white wine
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. sesame oil
    1/4 c. peanut or vegetable oil
    5 to 6 dried whole red peppers
    2 tsp. grated fresh ginger root
    1/2 c. chopped roasted peanuts
Preparation
    Combine 2 tablespoons each of cornstarch and soy sauce; stir well.
    Add chicken, mixing well.
    Let stand 30 minutes.
    Combine next 5 ingredients; mix well and set aside.
    Pour peanut oil around top of preheated wok; allow to heat at high (350\u00b0) for 1 minute.
    Remove and drain on paper towel.
    Reserve 2 tablespoons dripping in wok. Heat at medium-high (325\u00b0) for 30 seconds.
    Add red peppers and stir-fry until dark brown.
    Add ginger root and chicken; stir-fry 1 minute.
    Add rice wine mixture.
    Cook until slightly thickened.
    Stir in peanuts.
