Peanut Butter Temptations - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    48 miniature peanut butter cups
Preparation
    Cream butter and peanut butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and vanilla, beating well. Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to cream mixture, mixing well. Chill dough for 1 hour.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place in lightly greased mini muffin pan.
    Shape balls into a shell by pressing thumb in center.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Remove from oven and immediately place peanut butter cup in center of hot crust.
    Cool before removing from pan.
    Yield:
    4 dozen cookies.
