Sausage Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown sausage and onion in medium skillet.
    Drain.
    Combine eggs, cornmeal, corn, milk and oil in a bowl.
    Pour 1/2 of cornmeal mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle with sausage mixture and cheese.
    Pour remaining cornmeal mixture over top.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
