Recipe For One Gallon Of Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. carton milk
    1/2 qt. milk
    6 whole eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed into about 1/4 c. cold milk
Preparation
    Put milk in double boiler and add the beaten eggs, which have been mixed with the sugar and cornstarch, to the double boiler. Cook the custard until slightly thickened; remove from stove and cool.
