Hoppin' John - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans black-eyed peas, heated
    1 c. chopped ham
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. rice, cooked
Preparation
    Saute ham, onion and hot sauce in oil at medium heat 3 to 5 minutes.
    Stir until onion is soft.
    Combine peas, ham mixture and rice.
    Heat.
    Garnish with chopped pimentos and green onions. Serves 8.
