Potato-Cheese Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced (1 1/2 lb.)
    1/3 c. skim milk
    1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded extra sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/3 c. wheat bran flakes cereal, crushed
    1/3 c. wheat germ
    2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
Preparation
    Combine potatoes and water to cover in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Cover; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
    Drain; reserve potatoes in saucepan.
    Add milk and beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth; stir in cheese. Cover and chill mixture overnight.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well.
    Shape 1/3 cup potato mixture into a 3-inch patty.
    Coat with cereal mixture.
    Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Repeat procedure with remaining potato mixture and cereal mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Yield: 11 servings (87 calories per serving).
