Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (No. 2) cans French-cut green beans, drained
1 medium onion, cut in rings
8 strips bacon, cut in 1/4, reserve drippings
1/2 c. slivered almonds
6 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Place beans in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Place onion ring slices over beans.
Put bacon on top of onions.
Sprinkle almonds on bacon.
Add sugar and vinegar to bacon drippings and heat.
Pour over beans and marinate several hours or overnight.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 6.
