5 Hour Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. boneless stew meat
    5 medium potatoes, pared and cut into eighths
    2 c. carrots, cut in 1 inch chunks
    1 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1 c. celery, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Mix gently but well. Turn into a 3-quart casserole; cover and bake at 275\u00b0 for 5 hours. Serves 6.
