Ingredients

2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. vegetable shortening
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. uncooked oats
2 c. coconut
2 c. raisins
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream together the granulated and brown sugars, butter and shortening.
Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and soda. Beat into first mixture. Add remaining ingredients and knead into mixture.
Drop by teaspoon 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for about 8 minutes.
