Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rolled oats
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients and nuts in a large bowl, stir to mix. Mix together vanilla, oil, egg and water, beat slightly with wire whisk.
    Combine all ingredients and stir until blended.
    Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Yields 6 dozen.
    Can add chocolate chips, raisins and coconut.
