Golden Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (29 oz.) cans sliced peaches
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
dash of salt
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
peel from 1 orange, grated
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. peach liquid (reserved)
Preparation

Drain peaches, reserving 1 cup syrup.
Combine sugar, flour, nutmeg and salt; add reserved syrup.
Cook and stir until mixture thickens; add next 4 ingredients, then peaches.
Put in baking pan, top with crust, then sprinkle with sugar.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 40 to 45 minutes.
If cobbler browns too quickly, cover with foil.
