Cherry Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1 chocolate cake mix
1 extra egg
1 tsp. almond extract
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Follow directions on cake mix.
Use butter instead of oil. Mix at low speed for proper time.
Fold in cherry pie filling. Bake in sheet pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
Frost with chocolate icing; cut into squares.
Top each square with a cherry with a stem.
