Aunt Fanny'S Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow summer squash
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 stick butter
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash and cut up squash.
    Boil until tender.
    Drain, then mash. Add rest of ingredients except 1/2 of butter.
    Melt remaining butter.
    Pour mix into baking dish, then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
