Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1 large smooth stone, scrubbed and boiled to sterilize
    5 carrots, washed and sliced
    3 c. cut-up cabbage
    1 lb. chicken or stew meat, cut into small pieces
    4 potatoes, washed, peeled and cut into quarters
    1 c. rice or barley
    1 c. skim milk
Preparation
    Cook Stone Soup about 1 hour until potatoes are tender.
