Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar
    3 1/2 c. water
    lump of butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 box chopped dates
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Bring brown sugar, water and butter to a boil.
    Pour into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix sugar, chopped dates, nuts, milk, baking powder and flour together in a bowl.
    Drop by spoonfuls into syrup in the cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
