Stewed Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 7 medium sized squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil or margarine
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Chop squash; combine with onion and oil in a skillet.
    Add 2 tablespoons water, salt and pepper.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring often.
    Turn to low heat after mixture is slightly tender.
    Cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes.
