Chocolate Truffle Buns(Makes 20) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    225 g (8 oz.) sugar
    100 ml (4 fl. oz.) fresh milk
    15 g (1/2 oz.) vanilla essence
    115 g (4 1/2 oz.) sponge cake flour
    2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) salt
    150 g (5 oz.) crunchy hazelnut and chocolate spread
    chopped mixed nuts (to decorate)
Preparation
    Whisk together the eggs and sugar until very thick and pale. Heat the milk, butter and vanilla essence until almost boiling. Very slowly, whisk the hot milk into eggs.
    Sift together the flour and salt and fold into the egg mixture.
