Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans sauerkraut, drained
    1 small jar pimentos, drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix sauerkraut and pimentos thoroughly and add celery and onion.
    Mix thoroughly in large mixing bowl.
    Mix sugar, oil and vinegar.
    Heat long enough to melt sugar, no longer.
    Pour over mixture in mixing bowl.
    Chill.
