Oatmeal Crunchies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. nut meats
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add sugar, shortening, egg and vanilla. Beat well; stir in oats and nuts and form into balls.
Dip top into granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
