Pit Barbeque Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, minced
    2 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
    2 cups tomato ketchup
    1 cup apple cider vinegar
    1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
    2 teaspoons of salt
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon hot liquid pepper sauce
Preparation
    Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and saute until onion is tender. Add all other ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer, and cook until slightly thicken. Remove from heat and let cool. Use as basting sauce.
